The Pakistan Overseas Employment Promoters Association (POEPA) will identify international skilled labour trends to train youth in these areas to enable them to secure jobs abroad.

According to a news release, this was decided in a meeting between POEPA and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) on Friday. NAVTTC Executive Director Zulfiqar Cheema said that to reduce the pressure on the domestic market, overseas employment should be encouraged.

He pointed that Pakistan was currently unable to meet the skilled labour demands of the Middle-East.
