Pakistan-Australia: Focus on engaging private sectors

KCCI President Younus Muhammad Bashir appreciated the support extended by the Australian government to Pakistan

KARACHI: Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Margaret Adamson said her country was keen on engaging the private sectors of Pakistan and Australia for the benefit of both countries. “It’s the private sector that drives the economy and creates jobs,” she said during her visit to the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). Commenting on trade and investment ties between Pakistan and Australia, Adamson said although some magnificent things were happening between the two countries, reflecting the strength of their bilateral relationship, yet “we have to do more.” Earlier, KCCI President Younus Muhammad Bashir appreciated the support extended by the Australian government to Pakistan.
