Thrilling end: English team seal Twenty20 series

England beat Pakistan by three runs in the second Twenty20 international in a sensational last-over finish to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series in Dubai on Friday.



England made 172-8 with the help of 24-ball 38 by James Vincent and 22-ball 33 by stand-in skipper Jos Buttler.

Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi finished with 3-15 in his four overs, becoming the highest wicket-taker in all Twenty20 cricket with 86 wickets in as many matches.

Pakistan managed 169-8 in their 20 overs with Liam Plunkett taking 3-33. The third and final match will be played in Sharjah on Monday.
