The security forces arrested three militants in Sor Kamar, Jamrud Friday morning.
An official told The Express Tribune the arrests were made during a raid conducted on a house in the region.
“All three men were involved in the killing of khasadar officials and belong to a banned outfit,” he said. Weapons were also seized from their possession. Meanwhile, 24 people who were wanted for various crimes also surrendered to the khasadar force.
Speaking at a programme at Jirga Hall, Khyber Agency Political Agent Shahab Ali Shah said a search operation is under way.
“Houses of the wanted militants will be destroyed and their families will be deported from the region,” he added.
