Study hard: Seminar stresses on female education
Zafar vowed to work for the promotion of education and said that such programmes will be continued
SHIKARPUR:
A seminar was held at Government Girls High School Haji Fatah Muhammad, Shikarpur on the 'Importance of Education for Girls'. It was organised by the Strengthening Participatory Organisation (SPO) Hyderabad in collaboration with Oxfam and Novib on Friday. SPO programme coordinator Abdul Wahid Sangrasi said that education is a girl's fundamental right. Abida Zafar, the field in-charge of SPO Shikarpur, said that education is most important for girls to develop a healthy society, where women have equal rights. She stressed the need to promote education and make a better future. Zafar vowed to work for the promotion of education and said that such programmes will be continued. Shikarpur deputy commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi hailed the efforts of SPO Hyderabad and said that education is important for everyone, especially for women, because they can build an entire society.
