Quack-Down: Four dental clinics sealed

Assistant commissioner Dr Masood Bhutto raided various illegal clinics in the city and sealed off four of them, besides arresting two quacks on Thursday. Many dental technicians and dispensers are running private dental clinics illegally in Larkana, which is one of the main causes of the spread of deadly diseases such as hepatitis and AIDS. This was revealed to the media by Dr Ali Rahujo, Bibi Aseefa Dental College dentistry demonstrator. He said that these dental clinics possess no proper equipment and don’t sterilise the instruments. The district administration had collected the details of private dental clinics managed by dental technicians and dispensers working in the entire Larkana district, he pointed out.
