Embezzlement: NAB arrests treasury official
NAB is investigating the alleged misappropriation of money during Panhwar’s posting in Naushero Feroz
HYDERABAD:
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested on Wednesday a treasury official from Dadu district during an ongoing investigation of Rs120 million embezzlement of public money. The accounts officer, Muhammad Ali Panhwar, was arrested from the treasury office by a NAB team. A deputy director of the NAB, who conducted the raid said Panhwar was summoned several times but he never turned up. According to him, NAB is investigating the alleged misappropriation of money during Panhwar’s posting in Naushero Feroz.
