Murder case: Police arrest Customs official’s suspected killer
The suspect is a resident of Gujar Khan. Abrar, the deceased, was the brother-in-law of the alleged killer
ISLAMABAD:
Police have arrested a person allegedly involved in the murder of a customs official. According to a police spokesperson, the body of Customs Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Abrar was found from Japan Road in the Lohi Bher police area on November 17. The police registered a murder case and an investigation was launched into the matter. SP (Rural) Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted a special team which arrested Raja Akram Kiani, a key accused in the case. The suspect is a resident of Gujar Khan. Abrar, the deceased, was the brother-in-law of the alleged killer. Police have acquired the physical remand of Kiani and are conducting an investigation.
