To make the most out of the local bodies' elections to be held in Karachi on December 5, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) is holding rallies to spread their agenda. The party organised a rally for the people of Korangi and Landhi from Qayyumabad Roundabout till Hospital Roundabout in Landhi on Tuesday.
JI chief wants Baloch given jobs on priority
One of the supporters, Haseeb Ahmed Khan, along with his 20-year-old son was waiting eagerly to hear the JI Amir Senator Sirajul Haq speak. He was scheduled to address them later in the night. "We are hopeful about our party's future," said Khan, who has been with the JI since the last 28 years.

More than 200 supporters carrying their party flags participated in the rally and shouted slogans, optimistic to see a change in the city and hopeful about their victory in the upcoming local government elections in Karachi.
