BUNER:

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman reiterated his commitment to introduce an Islamic system in the country through ballots, not bullets. He was speaking at Mahmood Ghaznavi conference in Buner on Sunday. The event was attended by a large number of politicians. “Seminaries are the bastions of Islam,” Fazl said. “They will be protected at all costs from rulers who are trying to close their gates by portraying students as terrorists.” He also flayed the west for its unnecessary intrusion in the affairs of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
