Crimes Of Passion: Man shoots woman, kills himself

FAISALABAD: A woman was seriously injured on Friday after she was shot by a man whose marriage proposal she had turned down. The man then committed suicide. Madina Town police said the woman was a school teacher. They said she was returning home when the man had approached her. “He told her to persuade her parents to accept his proposal,” police said. They said when she refused, he shot her. Police said the man had then committed suicide.
