ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)’s candidate in the NA-125 constituency has refused to accept the Supreme Court’s offer for a recount to settle the row over who polled the highest number of votes from the National Assembly constituency.
Justice Qazi Faez Isa floated the idea of a vote recount. Counsels for all the parties agreed. However, Hamid Khan later instructed his counsel not to approve the idea. Upon that the court continued hearing the arguments of the lawyers on the merit of the case.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)’s candidate in the NA-125 constituency has refused to accept the Supreme Court’s offer for a recount to settle the row over who polled the highest number of votes from the National Assembly constituency.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali was hearing an appeal of Khawaja Saad Rafique, who defeated PTI’s Hamid Khan.
Justice Qazi Faez Isa floated the idea of a vote recount. Counsels for all the parties agreed. However, Hamid Khan later instructed his counsel not to approve the idea. Upon that the court continued hearing the arguments of the lawyers on the merit of the case.
