LAHORE: A suspected suicide bomber and his handler were apprehended from Hanjarwal area of Lahore on Friday.
Three suicide jackets and 25 hand grenades were also recovered. Police sources said that the suicide bomber was arrested on a tip-off from a man identified as Khalil who was arrested earlier in the day.
Sources said that Khalil was the mastemind of several terrorist attacks and an active member of a banned organisation.
The two men have been taken to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
