Azad Kashmir police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two members of a motorcycle-lifters gang and recovered two bikes from them. The police arrested the two alleged bike-lifters from the Ghari Dupatta area, however, the police did not share their names with the media saying “doing so will compromise the investigation as efforts were under way to arrest the remaining members of the gang”. According to the police, the gang has been active in the area for the last many months and it has stolen dozens of motorcycles in the town. The police have registered a case against the arrested gang members and further investigation is under way.
