MIRPUR: The Mirpur division electricity department has launched a drive to recover millions of rupees from power defaulters. A senior officer at city division of AJK Electricity Department told on Monday that 15 mobile recovery teams were constituted in the division for recovery of arrears. He further told that over Rs600 million were pending against government departments, and about Rs160 and Rs100 million against domestic and commercial consumers in the division. Authorities have ordered all sub-divisional officers to initiate action against hundreds of defaulters by recovering the arrear amounts pending against them.
