Professor holds MS degree in information studies from University of Toronto in Canada
PESHAWAR:
An assistant professor at University of Peshawar has been awarded a doctorate degree in the field of information management.
The research of the professor, Asad Khan, was based on empirical investigation of the effects of competencies on job satisfaction and organisational commitment of information professionals through a Pakistani perspective.
It is not just his PhD degree that shows his interest in the field of information studies, the professor also has a previous background in the field.
He holds an MS degree in information studies from University of Toronto in Canada. His work includes devising a competency-based management system that would evaluate workers’ performance and also enhance productivity. His research findings established a competent and satisfied workforce strives to achieve goals by using the available resources.
