Administrative appointments: Fapuasa demands law to be amended

The association wants amendments in the Sindh Universities Law (Amendment) Act, 2013

HYDERABAD: The Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association (Fapuasa) has called for an amendment to the law regulating public-sector universities in Sindh. They demand restoration of the varsity’s authority to make appointments for administrative positions. The teachers reiterated their demand at a meeting of FAPUASA’s central and provincial chapters at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. The meeting was chaired by Fapuasa central president Prof Naimatullah Laghari. The association wants amendments in the Sindh Universities Law (Amendment) Act, 2013.
