Initiatives: ‘We are making Lahore beautiful’
The commissioner praised the artwork of artists at the Punjab University (PU), the NCA and the GCU

Divisional Commissioner Abdullah Khan Sumbal said on Saturday the construction of an artistic model at Istanbul Chowk was a step towards beautifying Lahore. He was chairing a meeting to review progress on various development projects. The commissioner praised the artwork of artists at the Punjab University (PU), the National College of Arts (NCA) and the Government College University (GCU). He said improvement of Istanbul Chowk and the decoration of Mughalpura underpass were the Commissioner’s Office initiatives. He said bus stops would also be decorated in a way that they portrayed the culture and history of Lahore.
