The Waris Khan police on Saturday arrested a man for trying to steal taps and mirrors from the Metro Bus Station washrooms. The police arrested a man, identified as Muhammad Saleem, while he was allegedly attempting to steal taps and mirrors from the washroom of a Metro Bus Station in Waris Khan. Sanitary staff overpowered Saleem, while he was stealing valuables, and handed him over to the local police. Meanwhile, the same police arrested a suspected drug peddler and seized hashish from his possession. The police seized 1.03kg of hashish from Nadeem at a checkpoint. Separate cases have been registered by the police, and investigation is under way.
