SHABQADAR:

The FATA Political Alliance has parted ways with independent lawmakers from tribal areas. The alliance will participate in protests in Islamabad on November 16. Speaking to The Express Tribune, Zahir Shah, the general secretary of the alliance, told The Express Tribune he met lawmakers from Fata on Friday in Islamabad but could not reach a consensus on whether to call off the rally. According to Shah, MNAs from the area feared they would not be supported in Parliament if the FATA Reforms Bill is passed without the findings of the committee. However, FATA Lawyers Forum President Ejaz Mohmand told The Express Tribune they will participate in the rally.
