Going nationwide: SMEDA holds workshop
The workshop would advise new business aspirants regarding business opportunities in Pakistan

Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) is going to hold a two-day workshop in Multan titled ‘small business management’ to impart business skills to new aspirants from November 17. The training programme is being organised all over the country in different phases as per the instructions from the government to divert small investments to profit-oriented businesses. When contacted, Smeda Multan official said that higher profits and growth could be achieved through smaller investments in SME sector and could be instrumental in creating more jobs. Smeda Multan business coordinator said, “The workshop would advise new business aspirants regarding business opportunities in Pakistan, identification of sectors where investment was productive and profit-oriented, Prime Minister’s Youth loan scheme, comprehensive planning needed for new businesses, legal matters, marketing and human resource management.”
