Enhancing Skills: 16 teachers complete OTA courses

Sixteen teachers from different schools in the city were awarded certificates upon the successful completion of a course offered by Oxford Teachers’ Academy (OTA). The ceremony was organised by Oxford University Press (OUP) and held during the 31st International Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers Conference 2015. Ameena Saiyid, OUP Pakistan managing director, said that the OTA is a first-of-its-kind professional development programme launched in Pakistan for school teachers. The OTA courses, developed by Oxford University Department of Continuing Education and OUP, provide good quality teacher training that help teachers enhance their skills, she claimed.
