KARACHI:
The Sindh Counter-Terrorism Department claimed to have arrested on Sunday three suspects allegedly assigned to avenge the killing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) leader Malik Ishaq.

CTD said the suspects revealed that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Mufti Saddam had tasked them to establish a militant group to avenge Ishaq's killing.

The alleged militants were arrested from MRP Colony in Manghopir, and a huge cache of weapons, arms and ammunition was recovered from their possession.

On July 29, Ishaq along with 13 militants had been killed in Muzaffargarh during a shootout with police.
