Swabi DPO Javed Iqbal said police will promptly respond to public complaints

A police to victim service centre has been established in Swabi to eradicate terrorism and provide security to locals. Mardan DIG Said Wazir inaugurated the centre at the DPO’s office on Saturday. On the occasion, police officials briefed the DIG about the service, saying it will help reduce the crime rate. They informed him the centre will function round-the-clock and three emergency calls can be entertained at one time. They said three operators have been deputed to attend complaints. Speaking on the occasion, Swabi DPO Javed Iqbal said police will promptly respond to public complaints. “Separate mobile vans and motorcycles have been set aside for the service,” Iqbal saids. He added these efforts were being made to protect the public.
