Successful raid: Three people arrested, weapons seized

According to a press conference held at the police station in Charsadda, three people were arrested during a raid on Friday. Talking to the media, police official Murtaza Khan said they received information about the whereabouts of Farman, a proclaimed offender involved in many murder and attempted murder cases, and conducted a raid there. “An exchange of fire took place, resulting in two police officials getting injured,” he said. “Farman’s brother’s house was raided next and his brother, Amirzada, along with two of his colleagues, was arrested,” Khan said. Two Kalashnikovs, a light mortar gun, hand grenade, two pistols and two kilogrammes of hashish were confiscated from the house.
