The information technology experts have called for harmonising cybercrime laws with the globally followed rules and standards. The experts were speaking at a seminar titled ‘Understanding Cybercrime and Laws’ which was organised in Sindh University on Wednesday. The speakers also recommended setting up cybercrime research centres at provincial and federal levels and sensitising the public through awareness programmes.
