Round up Looking every bit a princess

Sonam Kapoor has been making promotional rounds for her upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in style

Staying true to her status as the reigning queen of fashion in Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor has been making promotional rounds for her upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in style.

For the film, the actor will deck up in Anamika Khanna ensembles, Amrapali Jewels and her mother Sunita Kapoor’s jewellery line, but her looks off-camera have been giving us just as much closet-envy. Looking every bit a princess in real life as on the reel, Sonam is born to dazzle.

Bigg on effervescence

Sonam visited the sets of Bigg Boss, the show hosted by her PRDP co-star Salman Khan, wearing Shantanu and Nikhil lehenga choli. The outfit was given a fresh spin with a high neck and long sleeves. Sonam exuded elegance and grace in the outfit and it complemented her slender and tall frame. She teamed it with silver baalas, a necklace from Amrapali and a sleek middle-parted updo. Not everyone can carry off such a look with the ease Sonam flaunted it with.

Trailing the traditional track

The Khoobsurat actor picked an ivory Anamika Khanna anarkali for the trailer launch of the film. She went all-out traditional with her jewellery selection. Although the actor looked striking, we prefer her youthful and playful looks. We get that she’s trying to stay in character but attending a trailer launch clad in out-and-out Eastern-wear isn’t perhaps the best choice. Only if she had saved this outfit for a different, more regal occasion …

Bright occasion, brighter smile

Sonam was dressed festively for Diwali in this bright and ornate outfit by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Styled by her sister Rhea Kapoor, the chaadar that Sonam sported made quite a statement. She kept her hair up so as to keep the attention on her clothes. Sonam looked the part of a quintessential Bollywood diva, who knows how to own traditional ensembles.
