Maria Rasheed and Muhammad Faizan, both four-years-old, were locked in the school for over two hours. A man in the neighbouring house heard the children crying and informed people in the neighbourhood. Locals gathered and informed the school staff and the education department. In the meantime, District Education Officer (Elementary) Uzma Noman reached the school and suspended the entire staff for negligence. She has also ordered an inquiry against the officials concerned.
