Under treatment: Rangers arrest suspect from hospital

The officer offered resistance and injured the suspect, who managed to escape

KARACHI: An injured suspect was arrested by Rangers while under treatment at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) on Monday. A police official said that the accused, 25-year-old Kumail Abbas, had attempted to rob a Rangers official in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Sunday. The officer offered resistance and injured the suspect, who managed to escape. The injured suspect was later taken to JPMC for treatment.
