Starting work: Nazim presents Mansehra tehsil budget
The session was adjourned for an indefinite period

Mansehra tehsil presented its first budget at the tehsil council session on Monday. Nazim Khurram Shehzad Swati presented a budget worth of Rs571 million. Naib nazim Mohsan Waqar presided over the session. Swati, giving the break-up of budget, said the council has an estimated income of Rs237 million, while the Provincial Finance Commission (PFC) will disburse Rs253 million in four instalments. He informed participants of the session that the provincial government had not paid an outstanding amount of Rs47 million from the previous year’s PFC. He added a sum of Rs37.066 million was allocated for development schemes, and Rs136 million for employee salaries. After the budget presentation, the session was adjourned for an indefinite period. However, budget for the council could not be presented owing to technical issues.
