New academic year: KU holds visual studies dept entry tests
The results of the test will be uploaded on the official website of the university on November 11

The University of Karachi conducted the entry test for admissions in its visual studies department on Sunday. An official of the university said that 984 forms were submitted for 105 seats and 937 students appeared in the admission test. On the instructions of the vice-chancellor, strict security arrangements were made and unauthorised individuals were not allowed near the examination centre. Rangers and security staff were deployed at the entry gates. There will be no interviews while the final merit list will be made with the weightage of 40 per cent of academic percentage and 60 per cent of the admission test marks. The results of the test will be uploaded on the official website of the university on November 11.
