LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s arrival at the polling station in Sarai Sultan area caused inconvenience to dozens of voters who had lined up to cast their ballots, Political Advisor to the PTI Chairman Abdul Aleem Khan said on Saturday. He condemned the suspension of polling for two hours to let Sharif cast his vote and said that the act was unbecoming a democratically elected government. He said an independent candidate contesting against the PML-N candidate was asked to leave the polling station when Sharif arrived there. Khan also accused the provincial government of using state apparatus against PTI candidates. He said the party’s workers were harassed by the Punjab police.
