Health matters: Immunisation Day to be marked in Sukkur

SUKKUR: The Sukkur district is marking National Immunisation Day against polio from November 9 to November 12 and the Sukkur deputy commissioner (DC), Shahzad Fazal Abbasi, has directed the district health officer (DHO), Sukkur to review and update their micro-plans. In this connection, a meeting of the district’s health officers was held, which was chaired by the DC at his office on Friday. Representatives of Unicef, the World Health Organisation and the relevant government departments also attended the meeting. The data analysis and progress review of the district was presented.
