MQM angered: Sindh govt disrupting electoral campaign, says MQM

MQM spokesperson and Rabita Committee member Aminul Haque alleged that the provincial home minister had instructed the police in Larkana to disrupt their congregation and force them not to hold a meeting. "All these are undemocratic and illegal steps are aimed at pushing the MQM back in its campaign," he said, claiming that five workers were arrested by the police. MQM chief Altaf Hussain was scheduled to address his workers in Larkana.

A press release said the police surrounded the premises, misbehaved with the workers and snatched their mobile phones. The MQM Rabita Committee asked the election commission to take notice. Meanwhile, Larkana police denied this incident took place.
