ISLAMABAD:
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday asked relevant authorities to complete the Islamabad Safe City Project by December this year, said a ministry official.
An official explained that under the project, a 2,009 square-metre bombproof command centre is being built, and all cameras would be connected through 500 kilometres of fiber optic cable, operated through a 4G network.

The project is already late and was supposed to be completed by this month (October).
A meeting, chaired by the minister, was conducted to review progress on the project on Wednesday.
