Three of a family killed as roof collapses in Peshawar

Initial details suggest the roof was in poor condition, and Rescue 1122 was called to carryout relief work

PESHAWAR: Three of a family were killed and three others injured when roof of a room collapsed in Bahadar Kalay area of Peshawar on Tuesday night.

Initial details suggest the roof was in poor condition, and Rescue 1122 was called to carryout relief work.

The injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital, and their condition is said to be critical.

Talking to The Express Tribune, a resident of the area said 60-year-old Muhammad Ismail, his two grand daughters seven-year-old Manahil and eight-year-old Muniba were killed in the roof collapse.

Wife of Ismail, Gul Harama, his two-year-old grand son Sudis and grand daughter Amna were injured in the incident, he added.
