Lackadaisical approach : Use of low-grade material slammed

JAMRUD: FATA Monitoring and Evaluation Unit Directorate DG Sajjad Khan slammed the use of low-grade material in ongoing development projects. He said Infrastructure Director Imran Gulzar and Mian Zakiullah from the buildings, XENs and SDOs monitored the situation poorly. He added Governor Model School Jamrud, Girls School Ghundi and Jamrud Press Club buildings were rendered unsafe and complaints had been registered against the responsible authorities. Miscellaneous materials utilised in building edifices were of poor quality. The contractors also turned a blind eye towards the construction process. It was stated that building authorities must work up to the set standards in a timely manner so that officials receive no further complaints.
