Earthquake: Man, five goats die in accidents
The epi-centre of the earthquake was 25km away from Dajal
DERA GHAZI KHAN:
A man and five goats were reported killed in separate accidents in Dera Ghazi Khan following an earthquake on Friday. The earthquake measured at 5.3 on Richter Scale was also felt in areas in Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Khairpur Tamewali, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, Taunsa, Sakhi Serwer, Kot Addu, Jampur and Dajal. In Tibi Solangi, a passer-by suffered severe injuries as a minaret of a mosque fell on him. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died. The jolts damaged several houses in the area. People reported breaking of many window panes. They also said walls in several houses had developed cracks. Allah Bachaya, a shepherd, said his five goats were killed in a landslide caused by the earthquake. Landslides were also reported from Fort Munro.
