Campaigning: ‘JI committed to bringing back a developed Karachi’

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi amir Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the JI leadership is committed to bringing back a developed, shining and bright city to the residents of Karachi.
Addressing party workers at a meeting, Rehman said that serving people with honesty will be their motto if they succeed in the upcoming local government (LG) elections. He further said that new megaprojects will be introduced in health, education and transportation sectors to serve the people of the megacity.
He stressed the need for door-to-door contacts and a splendid campaign to ensure a massive turnout of voters in the LG polls. He vowed to introduce new dimensions of public welfare, progress and development if the JI is elected to power in the upcoming LG elections.
Rehman urged party activists to expand their efforts to take communities in the loop during their campaign. He was of the view that community-based contacts will yield positive results.
