Gen baig’s claim: ‘India plot against Pak N-assets’

He said that allegations against Benazir regarding rolling back country’s nuclear programme were totally wrong

ISLAMABAD: Former army chief Mirza Aslam Baig has disclosed that India had prepared a plan to attack Pakistan’s atomic assets in 1990, in close cooperation with the US and Israel. Baig in a media interview in Islamabad said that the then PM Benazir Bhutto had directed the high command of the country’s armed forces to get ready to meet any sort of aggression. He said that allegations against Benazir regarding rolling back country’s nuclear programme were totally wrong and baseless.
