Among those whose membership has been restored include 23 MNAs, 19 members of Punjab Assembly

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restored the membership of 58 lawmakers as they submitted details of their assets and liabilities, mandatory under related electoral laws. ECP had suspended 272 lawmakers on October 16, including some federal and provincial ministers, for not fulfilling legal requirement of submitting statements of assets and liabilities of their own, their spouses and dependent children. Among those whose membership has been restored include 23 MNAs, 19 members of Punjab Assembly, four members of Sindh Assembly, three members of K-P Assembly, two members of Balochistan Assembly and seven senators.
