Soneri Bank Limited posted profit before tax of Rs2.622 billion and profit after tax of Rs1.59 billion for the nine-month period that ended on September 30, 2015. In terms of growth profit before tax is up 49.86% and profit after tax has increased by 41.92% over the corresponding period last year. The board, in its 146th meeting held on October 20, 2015, approved the third quarter financial statements. On this occasion, chairman Alauddin Feerasta appreciated the bank’s continued strong performance and expressed satisfaction with the results. The key drivers of higher net earnings were primarily revenue growth and managed expenses.
