Combatting extremism: Denmark to support Pakistan military
Danish Vice-Chief of Defence launched the programme to promote cooperation
ISLAMABAD:
Denmark has launched a new defence cooperation programme envisaging support to Pakistan’s military and civil security forces to counter the threat of extremism and militancy. The programme was launched by the Danish Vice-Chief of Defence, Lieutenant General Per Ludvigsen over the weekend. The general is on a visit to Pakistan for the programme’s launch along with delegation members from the Royal Danish Defence College.
