PTI chief says corrupt leaders are raising hue and cry about ‘political victimisation’ to impede accountability

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said there were attempts by the federal government to impede workings of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission.
According to Express News, PTI chairman on Tuesday said his party had promised the masses it would wage a war against corruption but the federal government was becoming an obstacle in the way of accountability of politicians.

Imran said corrupt leaders who had put their assets in foreign countries have come together, and were raising hue and cry about ‘political victimisation’ against accountability.
K-P's Ehtisab Commission was formed by the PTI-led government in the province and on July 9, it arrested then Minister for Mines and Minerals Ziaullah Afridi.
He was accused by the commission of misappropriation of funds which caused “losses worth billions of rupees” to the provincial exchequer.
