Tragic end: Woman commits suicide

A woman committed suicide on Sunday in Pasrur. According to police, the woman, a resident of Mattake Rajputan village, used to have frequent arguments with her husband over money. “She swallowed poisonous pills on Sunday. She was taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced her dead,” police said. Police said her body had been returned to her familu after post-mortem examination. They said a team had been formed to investigate the circumstances of her death. Separately, the body of a 25-year-old woman was found near Hafizabad. Police said a passerby informed them about the body. They said the deceased had been shot dead by unidentified gunmen, and they had later dumped her body near Mian Raheema village. The body has been sent for a post mortem examination. Police said the body had not been identified yet. They said a team had been formed to investigate.
