Tragedies in ajk: Three dead in separate incidents
The man fell into a deep ravine while heeding a flock of sheep in the Sangarmahli forest

At least three people were killed in different incidents across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Saturday. According to the details, Kownain Farooq a BSc student from Siyapanjayra Village, Kotli, ended his life by shooting himself with a pistol at his home over a domestic dispute. The police are investigating the incident. Meanwhile, the mother of a one-year-old girl committed suicide by jumping into the Jhelum River. Police said 26-year-old Maria was a resident of Nowshera Village, Muzaffarabad. Her husband was working abroad and rerpotedly divorced her last week. The police have registered a case and arrested Maria’s father-in-law. Her body has yet to be recovered from the river. In the third incident, a 70-year-old man lost his life in Kotla Kohli Machiyara, some 30 kilometres from Muzaffarabad.
