Appeal Accepted: LHC reinstates seven civil judges
The officers had challenged their termination before the LHC
LAHORE:
A special sub-committee of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has reinstated services of seven civil judges terminated earlier on charges of professional misconduct. They had said that they were condemned unheard, which was a violation of fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution. The court had referred the matter of officers’ termination to the administration committee for a review. The committee had formed a sub-committee to decide the matter after hearing the officers. The committee reinstated Nadeem Asghar Nadeem, Amjad Ali, Muzaffar Hussain Mughal, Zill-i-Huma, Bushra Farid, Qamar Zaman Tarar and Saima Asif.
