Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah has said Pakistan’s valiant armed forces are fully prepared to give a befitting response to any misadventure.     


“Any attempt to browbeat Pakistan will neither succeed nor serve the purpose of peace and prosperity in the region,” he said on Wednesday while addressing as chief guest at the graduation ceremony of 134th General Duty Pilot, 79th Engineering and 14th Administration and Special Duties courses.

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Suhail Aman was also present at the occasion.




Admiral Zakaullah said Pakistan is a peace loving country and seeks harmonious and peaceful co-existence with all countries but its desire for peace must not be construed as a sign of weakness.  He said in the current security scenario certain extremist elements abetted externally are out to disrupt our peace and harmony.

Commenting on Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) role in operation Zarb-e-Azb, he said, the PAF has extended all-out support to the Pakistan Army in combating anti-state elements.

During the ceremony, a total of 104 under training officers, including eight women, were passed out.

The chief pinned badges to the graduating officers and aviation cadets and presented trophies to the position holders. He presented sword of honour for overall best performance in CFT to Pilot Officer Muhammed Kashif and sword of honour for overall best performance in CAE to Pilot Officer Shahan Qamar.

The CAS’ Trophy for the best performance in flying was presented to Pilot Officer Muhammed Kashif and the CAS’ Trophy for the best performance in engineering was won by Pilot Officer Shahan Qamar. Trophy for the best performance in 14 A&SD was awarded to Pilot Officer Jawad Jehangir Khan.

Pilot Officer Jawad Jehangir Khan got a trophy for best performance in General Service Training in CFT. The trophy for the best performance in general service training in CAE was given to Pilot Officer Nasar Mubarik.
