Private wheels: Green, red number plates to be removed
The notification gave public 15-days’ time to implement the order before the launch of the operation

After the verdict from Peshawar High Court, district government ordered all green number plates to be removed from non-customs paid vehicles (NCP) within the next 15 days. A senior official of the district government said on Wednesday the notification was issued on the directives of the deputy commissioner. According to the order, all vehicle owners who had green or red number plates on private or NCP vehicles must remove them; otherwise, a crackdown will be launched against them. The notification gave public 15-days’ time to implement the order before the launch of the operation.
