A delegation of PPP representatives visited top election body to record concerns
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) said its supporters were terrorised by other parties. A delegation of PPP representatives visited the top election body on Monday to record concerns on what it claimed deliberate targeting of party’s workers during election campaigns. Led by former interior minister Senator Rehman Malik, the PPP delegation lodged protest at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that the commission did not take any notice of killing of PPP workers in Okara, a day before by-polls in district’s national assembly constituency NA-144 took place.
